Kargı Inlet
Lying just three kilometers from the city center, the Kargı Inlet is the nearest to the town of all of the peninsula’s inlets. The sea here is not only beautiful with its reflections of all shades of turquoise imaginable, it is easily accessible at every point along its shores. Visitors to Kargı enjoy both the treasures afforded by this sea and its natural surroundings. The various cafes and beaches found along and near its shores are also pleasing attractions.
Domuzbükü (Pig Hollow)
Visitors need a boat to access this beautiful inlet surrounded by pine forests. Luckily for all, the local boat tours stop here daily. The inlet can also be reached with a one-hour boat trip from Datça itelf. The shore here is a mixture of sand and of pebbles and also draws visitors to its traditional Wishing Grotto.
Ovabükü
Located near Mesudiye village, Ovabükü lies 20 km from the center of Datça. A sea pearl of natural beauty, this peaceful spot is preferred by those craving peace and tranquility.
Hayıtbükü
Found near the village of Mesudiye, Hayıtbükü is a small inlet that is noteworthy for its sandy and shallow sea. In addition to cafes, restaurants and bars, there are also many lodgings available for visitors in Hayıtbükü.
Kızılbük
A hidden inlet greets those visitors who know the treasure that awaits them after a walk up the hill directly adjacent to Hayıtbükü. Certified as a blue flag beach, Kızılbük is known for having some of the most beautiful and cleanest seas in all of Datça.
Palamutbükü
Further afield as it lies 25 kilometers from Datça, the inlet of Palamutbükü affords visitors an amazingly long stretch of beach. Ranking as a ‘must-see’ stop-over for all of the local boat tours, this inlet treats the eyes to a wonderful blending of all the shades of blue and green. Even though its water is cooler than that of other inlets, its breathtaking beauty makes it a place that must absolutely be seen.
Çiftlik, Kovanlık and Kurucabük
The Aktur Holiday Resort found in Kızılbük, a region that lies between Marmaris and Datça (30 km from Datça itself), is usually mentioned in tandom with Datça. This resort faces three adjoining inlets: Çiftlik, Kovanlık and Kurucabük. This resort has become a popular anchoring spots for yachts and their global passengers.
